The Only Show As Colorful As Life
From October 3–29, the worldwide show sensation, Blue Man Group, takes its audiences on a journey that defies categorization: art, music, comedy, state-of-the-art technology, stunning light effects, and a visually surprising and colorful spectacle merge to create an unforgettable experience for both young and old. Besides the Blue Man classics, the new world tour also presents brand new acts. The shows are described by critics as being “innovative”, “energetic” and “wildly entertaining”. On the Trail of the Fox
Finally the fox is also on the roam in Winterthur, hotly pursued by numerous adventure- seeking “foxhunters”. From October 3, 2017, the Winterthur Foxtrail scavenger hunt leads, among other places, through a 600 meter (2,000ft) long underground tunnel and past a bee hotel. The route takes in urban attractions, untouched waterways, and time-honored industrial halls. Toads, ducks and foxtails help in solving the numerous clues. Who can follow the fox’s trail and reach the goal?

Jungkunst – the Long Weekend with Art & Music
The 11th edition of the Jungkunst festival takes place from October 26–29 – for the first time in Halle 53 in Winterthur. The four-day exhibition held in the old industrial hall shows the curated works of young Swiss artists from all stylistic directions: from painting and photography, to objects, to street art, videos and installations. Concerts, slam poetry, DJs, beer and home-made hot dogs turn the exhibition into a multifaceted art festival that appeals to art connoisseurs and novices alike.

Fashion Experience in a Five-Star Hotel
From October 27–29, the lifestyle hotel, Kameha Grand Zürich, will be transformed into an experience oasis for all fashion lovers. The hotel rooms on two floors serve as pop-up stores, in which up to 80 exhibitors show their products from the worlds of fashion, accessories, beauty and lifestyle and invite visitors to browse at their leisure. On this occasion, too, the objective is to offer young designers and upcoming brands a platform to present their collections and visitors an inspiring shopping and lifestyle experience. As in previous editions, the idea behind FASHIONHOTEL is not just to shop, but also to experience. In the experience rooms, guests can treat themselves to a hair or cosmetic makeover for the after-shopping party, attend an interactive workshop and learn about lifestyle themes such as blogging or photography, or relax during a yoga session. The entire program is accompanied and underscored by music by well-known DJs.
