Winterthur rocks
Winterthur transforms into a musical hub from August 9 to 20. The 42nd Winterthur Music Festival will feature performances by Feist (Canada), Philipp Poisel (Germany) and Glen Hansard (Ireland), with the heart of the picturesque old town providing the perfect setting for these platinum-selling singer-songwriters’ only tour stops in Switzerland. They share the one-of-a-kind atmosphere with Kraftklub, Broilers (both German), Band of Horses (USA), the Zurich-based musician Faber, and more than 60 other exciting bands. 12 days, 4 stages, music, cabaret and cuisine: half the city of Winterthur is either involved in Europe’s oldest pop and rock festival, or a guest there.
