Besides posters, the “Take a Holiday!” exhibition includes travel guides, photographs, and advertising brochures and videos.

The Rhine Falls Go Green
Green Rhine Falls? Yes, for Switzerland is once again taking part in Ireland’s Global Greening initiative, when on three evenings from March 16–18, Europe’s largest waterfall will be lit up green. The Rhine Falls are one of over 55 landmarks around the world that will be bathed in green light to mark St Patrick’s Day. Celebrate Ireland’s national day with an Irish dinner at Laufen Castle, and then experience the raging green waterfall close up from the viewing platform. A unique natural spectacle awaits you.

Friday Market in Rapperswil-Jona
On March 17, the Friday market enters its 44th season. Every Friday morning, numerous market traders sell their wares to locals and visitors from all over the world. With some 24 market stalls, the small and friendly market is characterized by its fresh, regional produce. The selection is broad, and ranges from seasonal vegetables, fruit and salad products, to pasta, cheese, fish and meat, including organic Highland beef, to Greek and Indian specialties, through to wine, olive oils and bread. There is also a variety of flowers, beautiful roses and a selection of seedlings. The market season lasts until the end of November.

Urban Wine Spring at PULS 5
The Wyschiff (wine boat) in fall is followed in spring by expovinaPRIMAVERA. From March 30 to April 6, around 90 wine growers and wine dealers offer visitors the opportunity to taste over 2,000 different wines from all the major wine-growing regions in the world. With its modern exhibition architecture in the former foundry building at PULS 5, expovinaPRIMAVERA has in recent years confirmed its prominent role among Swiss wine fairs and thus makes an important contribution towards Swiss wine culture.

Switzerland’s largest touring theater company, DAS ZELT – Chapiteau PostFinance, travels all over Switzerland as a mobile cultural and event platform, bringing comedy, circus and concert direct to people’s doorsteps.
