Zermatt Unplugged Kaufleuten
Following the successful premiere last fall, the Zermatt Unplugged music festival is back at the Kaufleuten in Zurich, enabling the artistic spirit of the small Alpine village to be experienced at this show mecca in the Swiss metropolis. The line-up at the top-level concerts, held from October 27–29, includes Simple Minds, Asaf Avidan, Aloe Blacc, Lianne La Havas, Chris de Burgh, Gabrielle, Nada Surf, Turin Brakes and Emiliana Torrini, all of whom will be performing unplugged and up close in a highly intimate setting. Also appearing are up-and-coming new talents just waiting to be discovered.

Pumpkin Exhibition at the Juckerhof and Bächlihof farms
The pumpkin exhibition at the Juckerhof and Bächlihof farms has enchanted thousands of guests since it was first introduced in 1997. People of all ages can visit the exhibition until the beginning of November. It is open daily, no matter what the weather, and admission is free. This year, the theme is the Romans. The giant sculptures made from pumpkins never fail to fascinate and the diversity of the pumpkin varieties on show is simply amazing.
